PARKOUR TRAVERSAL MECHANICS
These parkour mechanics were started in 2018 when I first started using unreal engine. I have since then created them from scratch 7-8 times now, getting better and better each rendition. -- With the advent of UE 5.4's animation demo, I was discouraged, feeling that all my hard work was no longer relevant. However- I soon realized that there are still many many mechanics that I have made and incorporated into my projects that did not exist out of box for the animation demo. SO, I started anew, using the animation demo and migrating all that I had already created, and incorporating plugins to practice adding other sources to an existing project (which is a skill in and of itself). With this new inspiration, I now return to my original intention, to make an Afrofuturist video game with parkour mechanics. The specifics are not as of yet public.Â
